Who we are.
The Ash Method (“we,” “us”) sells digital workflow systems and templates for creative professionals. Contact: hello@theashmethod.co.

What you’re buying.
Downloadable digital files and access links (Google Sheets & PDFs). No physical goods.

How orders work.
Prices are shown at checkout. Taxes are added where applicable (see Refund Policy for details).
US sales tax may apply. We are not collecting EU/UK VAT at launch.

  • Payments are processed by our payment provider; we don’t store card numbers.

  • Delivery is immediate after purchase via on-screen links and email receipt.

License, not ownership.
Your purchase includes a limited license (see the License page for the full terms). In short:

  • Use within one brand/companyyou own or control.

  • No reselling, sharing, or repackaging the source files.

  • You may modify for your brand’s internal use.

Refunds & issues.
Digital purchases are generally final (see Refund Policy). If something is broken or links fail, email us—we’ll fix access issues.
Email hello@theashmethod.co we’ll fix the access or replace. We reply within 1-2 business days.

Acceptable use.
Don’t use our products for illegal activities, to infringe others’ IP, or to train competing products/templates. Automated scraping or redistribution isn’t allowed.
Using our materials to train AI models or competing templates/products is not allowed.

Intellectual property.
All materials remain our copyrighted work. Trademarks, names, and logos belong to their owners. If you believe something here infringes your rights, contact hello@theashmethod.co with details.

Support & updates.
We aim to keep links live and fix breaking changes within reasonable time. We don’t promise compatibility with every future tool or workflow.

Disclaimers.
The materials are provided “as is.” We don’t make guarantees of specific business results.

Limitation of liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product that gave rise to the claim.

Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of New York, USA, and disputes will be handled in the courts of New York, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
The Ash Method is the trade name of it’s parent, a New York Limited Liability company.

Changes.
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we’ll update the date at the top. Continuing use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.

What we collect

  • Contact details you provide at checkout or when you email us.

  • Order details and basic site analytics/cookies to keep the site running (no cross-site ad tracking).

  • Payment details are handled by Gumroad/Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

How we use data

  • To deliver orders, provide support, prevent fraud, and improve the site.

  • To send transactional emails about your purchase. Marketing emails only if you opt in; you can unsubscribe at anytime.

Sharing
We share data only with trusted providers (hosting, payments, email, analytics) to operate the service.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not “sell or share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising,

Retention
We keep order records for legal/accounting requirements. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymized.

Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection at any time by emailing hello@theashmethod.co EU/UK residents also have GDPR rights.

International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country. Our providers use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies
We use functional essential cookies and lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics. Control cookies in your browser settings.

Children
Our products are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Security
We use encryption (HTTPS) and provider controls to protect data. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures.

If we update this policy, we’ll post the changes here and update the “Last updated” date.
